CHRP(K) Mohamed Said Doo is a seasoned Human Resources and Administration professional with over 26 years of leadership and professional experience, including more than 21 years in the financial sector and 12 years within the banking services sector. Throughout his career, Mohamed has provided strategic leadership in human capital management, administration, strategy development and execution, governance, stakeholder engagement and organizational transformation. He has a strong track record of aligning people, processes and institutional objectives to support sustainable organizational performance across both public and private sector institutions.
Mohamed is a licensed and professional member of the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM). His professional expertise encompasses human resource strategy, employee welfare, industrial and employee relations, talent management, performance management, organizational development, governance, policy formulation and financial management. His career has also provided extensive exposure to Board and senior management engagements, supporting institutional decision-making, governance and strategic execution. His professional career includes senior and advisory roles with Milestone Credit Limited, The Nairobi Hospital, Trident Insurance Company Limited, Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC), the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Co-operative Bank of Kenya, Allied EA Ltd, and Midland Energy Ltd.
Mohamed has extensive experience working in institutions with strong academic, professional development and training mandates. At Nairobi Hospital, he worked closely with the Cicely McDonell College of Health Sciences, supporting and supervising training programmes. At ICPAK, he was involved in the development and implementation of annual Continuing Professional Development (CPD) calendars and in-house professional training programmes. These assignments strengthened his expertise in learning and development, talent management, policy implementation, governance and organizational transformation. His professional experience across financial services, healthcare, professional education, public institutions and corporate organizations has enabled him to develop a broad understanding of the relationship between people, governance, financial sustainability and organizational performance.
