We are excited to introduce you to the Kenya Re Academy, an initiative by the Kenya Reinsurance Corporation (Kenya Re) aimed at enhancing industry knowledge and skills and supporting the professional development of our experts. The Academy will target Kenya Re customers, who will benefit from the initiative free of charge, for comprehensive trainings on reinsurance and direct insurance products, aimed at bridging knowledge gaps in the Industry.
Driven by our unwavering commitment to the advancement and development of the industry, the training will take place in partnership with expert instructors, and participants will be awarded certified certificates by the College of Insurance.
Some of the courses offered at the training academy that will cover Life & Non-life segments include Life Principles of Underwriting, Fundamentals of Reinsurance, Intermediate Reinsurance Training – Understanding The Treaty Wording, Intermediate Life Technical, Bancassurance Fundamental, Microinsurance, Marine Underwriting, Property Insurance Underwriting and Engineering & Bonds.
