Kenya Re sponsored and actively participated in the 49th Annual Conference of the African Insurance Organisation (AIO) that took place from 27th to 31st May 2023 in Algiers, Algeria, under the theme: “The Contribution of the Insurance to Food Security Challenges in Africa”.
Kenya Re was represented by the Managing Director, Dr. Hillary Wachinga, General Manager - Finance & Investments - Mrs. Jacqueline Njui, General Manager - Reinsurance Operations, Mrs. Beth Nyaga, Regional Manager Côte d'Ivoire - Mr. Phares Kablan, Regional Manager – Zambia, Mr. Seleman Tembo, Manager - Marketing & Business Development, Ms. Jane Odipo and Senior Underwriter, Ms. Grace Kisaulu. The team leveraged on business networks and strategic engagements for the Corporation's posterity. The team met various clients, regulator and business partners such as Chairman – Insurance Regulatory Authority, Hon. Mwambu Mabongah, JB Boda Insurance Board Chairman, Mr. Atul, Mukfin Insurance Brokers team, CEO KBL Insurance in Nigeria, Ukachi Orji and many others.
