On Thursday 19th December 2024, the Corporation hosted Burundi Insurance Industry CEOs and stakeholders for a luncheon at the Carnivore Restaurant. The luncheon provided a great opportunity to network and enhance the partnership the Corporation enjoys with the Burundi insurance industry.
The day started with a courtesy visit by our Group Managing Director - Dr Hillary Wachinga to the College of Insurance where the CEOs were being hosted. The CEOs were at the institution for a week-long training on various insurance topics aimed at upskilling their knowledge. The Group MD seized the opportunity to market the Kenya Re academy and encouraged the CEOs to enroll their staff in various insurance programs offered at the premier capacity building center throughout the year. He took time to review impressive engagements the Corporation has in the Burundi insurance industry and encouraged the CEOs to be open to potential future collaborations to nurture business opportunities in the insurance and reinsurance markets.
