Kenya Reinsurance Corporation Limited was represented at the 16th Carthage Insurance and Reinsurance Rendez-Vous in Djerba Island in Tunisia. Ann Kasimu, Assistant Manager - Credit Control, Rahab Kariuki, Ag. Assistant Manager- International Business (Facultative) & Emmanuel Karisa, Senior Bilingual Underwriter (French) in International Business department ably represented the Corporation as attending and participating delegates.
The Conference has become an annual event and the best platform to discuss various issues in the insurance and Reinsurance industry in the wake of many emerging risks in the North Africa region and the world at large. The theme of the 16th RDV was “The Insurance and Reinsurance industry facing the challenges of climate change and economic pressure: what prospects?” The event, that was held from 5th – 7th February 2023, was graced by over 700 participants from Asia, Middle East, Africa and Europe.
