Kenya Re Group Managing Director (MD), Dr. Hillary Maina Wachinga, on Friday paid a special courtesy visit to his Acentria Group counterpart, Mr. Moses Musau. Acentria Group is one amongst the many companies that the Corporation is targeting to recognize through an awards programme geared at appreciating key stakeholders for the strategic business support lent to the Corporation over the years. The main purpose of this special visit was to appreciate Acentria Group for channeling profitable business to the Corporation through their reinsurance brokerage arm.
Acentria Group received two awards: 2nd runners up in timely remittance of premiums and 2nd runners up in profitability. Acentria Group Managing Director, Mr. Moses Musau was joined to receive the award by Associate General Manager – Evelyne Wanjohi, Head of Reinsurance Business – Symon Gatimu and other Acentria staff. Kenya Re Group MD, Dr. Wachinga, was accompanied to this special visit by Manager - Marketing & Business Development & Kenya Re Training Academy Coordinator, Ms. Lucy Kagwiria as well as Manager – Local Business – Mrs. Elizabeth A. Omondi.
