The Corporation’s Life Business team today paid a courtesy visit on key business partner – CIC Life. The meeting was premised on the appreciation that CIC Life is one of Kenya Re’s biggest partners for the Life Business arm for many years.
The meeting was held to introduce the Life Business team as well as a business catch up on outstanding matters. The Kenya Re Life Business team that was led by Acting Manager, Life Business – Mr. Yoves Angwenyi, appreciated CIC Life for the continuous business support that has been profitable; evidenced by the awards CIC Life received during the inaugural awards programme spearheaded by the Corporation, last month.
CIC Life team led by Head of Operations – Mr. Tyrus Kanja thanked the Kenya Re team for visit and underscored their commitment to furtherance of the existing partnership for mutual growth and development. The meeting also explored the emerging partnership opportunities in new Life Business products. The Kenya Re team thanked their counterparts for the support so far in nominating personnel for Life Business trainings offered by the Kenya Re Training Academy. The Kenya Re team noted the Corporation’s innate commitment to offering the requisite capacity building on insurance and reinsurance industry aimed at sustaining a thriving industry.
Another meeting has been scheduled soon for the Senior Executives of both entities to discuss furtherance of the existing business engagement. Mr. Kanja was joined in the meeting by Head of Reinsurance – Maina Muriuki, Head of Claims – Carol Adhiambo, Reinsurance Underwriter Individual Life - Letting Emmanuel and Finance Officer – John Mugure. Mr. Angwenyi was accompanied to the meeting by Assistant Manager, Life Business - Jackline Karimi and Life Officer – Mercy Wanjau.
