Kenya Reinsurance Corporation Limited Group Managing Director, Dr. Hillary Maina Wachinga, hosted Emeritus Re (Botswana) Managing Director, Patience Mashaire Marwiro, at the Corporation’s Head Office in Reinsurance Plaza, Nairobi, on Wednesday 21st February 2024. The main purpose of the courtesy call by the Emeritus Re MD was to meet the new Group MD, as well as further interest the Corporation towards deepening the partnership in their various lines of business.
Kenya Re Group MD was delighted to host the Emeritus Re MD and outlined the various opportunities that the two entities could explore through more partnership especially on facultative business. Dr. Wachinga noted the Corporation’s appetite to grow the business through profitable lines. The two MDs appreciated the two entities’ interest in new emerging risks such as Cyber Risk and committed to seek ways of mutually exploring capacity to grow business from these emerging risks.
In this meeting, Kenya Re Group MD was flanked by General Manager - Reinsurance Operations, Mrs. Beth Nyaga, Assistant Manager – Marketing & Business Development, Mrs. Susan Kandie as well as Marketing & Business Development Officer – Mr. Edwin Muthabuku.
