On Friday, 28th March 2025, a team of key ICT techies from Kenya Re, led by Samuel K. Ruugia (Head of IT, R&D), visited Jubilee Insurance's Technology Hub (J-Hub). The delegation included Davis Onsakia (Security Lead), Chris Kivati (Databases Lead), Laban Maundu (Security), and Felix Maundu (AI Development).
They were hosted by Julius Orayo, Group CIO of Jubilee Insurance, and his core technical team. The meeting discussed pertinent matters bordering on strategic technological advancements such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), data analytics, cyber security, multi cloud services and capacity building to bolster ICT capabilities for both teams.
